What was the ask?
Girlguiding asked HUDL to review and evaluate Action for Change, a three year funded programme to introduce their young girls to campaigning and increase the number and diversity of girls who influence Girlguiding’s national advocacy work.
Why was it innovative?
We penned a recommendation paper for Girlguiding based on our combined decades of experience with networks, the voluntary sector and young people to ensure that the Action for Change training and engagement with their girls was meaningful and impactful.
How was it successful?
Our recommendations were embedded in the Action for Change team processes and procedures.
The programme continues to lead girls on a year-long journey to be the advocacy for change in their community.
