MENTORING PROGRAMME
Actively seeking a career in STEM or the Energy sector?
We have partnered with Shell Africa and Caribbean Network to offer a 4-month employability skills and mentoring programme which will connect you with a range of staff from Shell UK.
As a Power Up! Mentee, you will be offered two online development days to review your career goals and enhance your application and interview skills. You will also be allocated a mentor from Shell who will work with you 1:1 to understand the energy sector, build your networks, increase your knowledge of STEM and Energy sector roles and develop your soft skills.
To apply for this programme, you must be:

Aged 17 - 21, living in London

From a BAME or Low-socio economic background
-
Have a keen interest or curiosity in STEM or Energy sector roles ( this could be based on the subjects you study, general interests or current job)
We have mentors from across Shell in the following listed roles; if you are interested in finding out more about what they do and would like guidance on how to successfully apply and grow in similar roles the Power up programme is right for you.

The Power Up Employability Series will offer you:

What next?
1 . Apply through our online form by Friday 3rd September 2021.
2. If your application is successful you will be invited to two development days ( online ) on the Thursday 16th and 30th September 2021.
3. You will be matched to your mentor after the second development day and mentoring will take place between October and December 2021.
4. You will complete the programme and be invited to take part in a celebration event.
